Goat and figs salted kiss

Ingredients
250 g raising flour
5 eggs
10 cl olive oil
10 cl milk
1 tablespoon honey - optional
100 g fresh goat's cheese
50 g walnut kernels
6 fresh or dried figs, according to taste
Salt and pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the olive oil, milk and honey.
- Add the flour and mix together well until you have a smooth batter
- Cut the goat's cheese into small pieces and stir into the batter.
- Roughly chop the walnuts.
- Cut the figs into pieces if you prefer to have them distributed in the cake, I have placed them not cut as I pretty like the sensation of biting onto the all fruit.
- Add them to the batter. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a cake tin lined with baking paper. Bake for about 45 minutes.
- Leave to cool slightly before turning out.
Serve warm or cold with a green salad
