If you are looking for a dish that is easy, romantic and delicious look no further!
Simple to cook, gorgeous and elegant on the plate, scallops are sweet, tender and delectable.

For two gourmets

Ingredients

8 raw scallops
8 smoked (or not) bacon, halved
8 toothpicks
Olive oil
Parsley finely chopped
Salt and Pepper

Method

  1. Wrap each scallop with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and once hot, fry the scallops for 1 ½ to 2 minutes.
  4. Using tongs, turn the scallops and sear until it is golden brown, not more than 2 to 3 minutes on each side
  5.  ( few seconds on the bacon side as well).
  6. Be careful not to overheat the delicate scallops.
  7. Once cooked, scatter over the chopped parsley.

Serve with a mixed salad and vinaigrette or a mixed green salad and a white butter sauce (see recipe)
