Wrapped Scallops

Simple to cook, gorgeous and elegant on the plate, scallops are sweet, tender and delectable.
For two gourmets
Ingredients
8 raw scallops
8 smoked (or not) bacon, halved
8 toothpicks
olive oil
parsley finely chopped
Salt and pepper
Method
Serve with a mixed salad and vinaigrette or a mixed green salad and a white butter sauce (see recipe)

Ingredients
8 raw scallops
8 smoked (or not) bacon, halved
8 toothpicks
olive oil
parsley finely chopped
Salt and pepper
Method
- Wrap each scallop with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and once hot, fry the scallops for 1 ½ to 2 minutes.
- Using tongs, turn the scallops and sear until it is golden brown, not more than 2 to 3 minutes on each side
- ( few seconds on the bacon side as well).
- Be careful not to overheat the delicate scallops.
- Once cooked, scatter over the chopped parsley.
